First edition of the newly born Electronic Family kicked off in Amsterdamse Bos , near Amsterdam on July the 30th. The sold out festival was hosted by Armin van Buuren under his A State of Trance print out with the help of Nadia Ali and the Armin Only Mirage crew. It was a 12 hours outdoors show with a jaw-breaking line up . .One of the evening's highlights was Armin's triple back-to-back with Markus Schulz , Ferry Corsten and Gareth Emery but also Sied van Riel , Aly & Fila , Alex MORPH , Simon Patterson and the freshely reunited Gabriel & Dresden made the fans roar like there was no tomorrow.Being a full Armin van Buuren production Electronic Family was second to none in terms of trance summer festivals and the massive crowd witnessed to a beautiful fireworks show at the end of Armin's astonishing 2 hours set.Undoubtedly it was a night to remember and we are so looking forward to next year's edition.
