This song isn't even out yet (probably July 2011), and Christian Burns and Eller van Buuren have already done an acoustic hotel room session of the song "Neon Hero". They both know how to play it, because they both play on the original. Christian is the vocalist, whilst Eller plays with his band Bagga Bownz on Armin van Buuren's new song, too. This song is number 8 of the Mirage acoustic hotel room sessions. About 40 crew and artists are on the "Armin Only" world tour since 2010 and in every country Eller plays with the artists a song, most of the times unprepared and unrehearsed. Goal: to transform a pumping dance track into a sweet acoustic song. The fifth single taken from 'Mirage', is another new story to be told. For 'Feels So Good', Armin invited the vocal queen of EDM, Nadia Ali. Her seductive voice still warms the crowds, years after her IIO classic 'Rapture' first shattered across the arena's and clubs. For Armin's 'Shivers' album in 2005, she rocked the powerful 'Who Is Watching?', now followed by a more playful 'Feels So Good' 6 years later. Rapturous as always, Nadia's voice seductively flirts with a heavy but teasing bass guitar, laidback beat and electric melody. Sweeping you off your feet from first play on, you'll be hooked to 'Feels So Good' in no time. To make 'Feels So Good' suit the peak-time moments on the floor, Armin didn't only bring a warm but techy-edged club mix of the original himself, but also invited Jerome Isma-Ae, Jochen Miller and Tristan Garner to the party. Jerome Isma-Ae did what he does best: deliver a remix with a bouncy progressive-house touch, layered with soothing melodies. Jochen Miller, mostly known for his tougher takes at remix duties, reveals his softer side. Jochen focuses on the instrumental part, adding a melodramatic touch without making 'Feels So Good' lose its feel-good sound. Last but not least, French producer Tristan Garner delivers a sexy and exotic remix, build around heavy drums and melody, rhythmic in every way.

Come with me on a 3 minute instrumental-only journey across Nuera's brilliant Green Cape Sunset with AVB on the original remix, which we broke down into a number of source samples. These samples were then assigned to keys on a sampler and overlayed with the track, which was further remixed using 2 decks against the original track. Several effects feature very late in the track so listen the whole way ;) I think this remix fully encompasses the feel of the original and extends it's beautiful melody much further than the original. Full credit to AVB for his work on The State of Trance and Mirages, two key sources for a number of backing effects I deposited into this track. The track is re-ordered and I think I've done a good job of smoothing out some of the less perfect areas of both the original and Armin Van Buuren version.
